I finally finished the very large Nutcracker.
When I brought this back to my shop I told two of my girls that I had a surprise to show them in the shop.
Victoria 3 and Ruby 5 saw right away in the corner of my shop the very large toy figure. “Wow is that for me? Can I have it?”
I realized that I should of told them that it was something that I needed to repair for a customer, and not something that would eventually end up in their room!
Victoria 3 started asking me questions.
V, “Is he bad? Is he going to kill someone?”
Me , ” No, he is a toy, why do you ask?”
V, “He has a sword, like a Lightsaber.”
Me, “Don’t worry he has a sword because he is going to protect the good people.”
V, “Ok, I just don’t want him to cut my hand off like Dark Lader!”

The nutcracker had a broken arm, Hilt, damage to his nose, hat, and chest that I needed to repair. Also the Lightsaber, I mean sword was broken also.
The repair turned out well 🙂
