Finish Repair to Side of Cabinet

2

Recently I did a finish repair to the side of a cabinet.  Movers used tape to make sure the doors would not open during transport.  They wrapped it across the sides of the cabinet, and when they pulled it off they caused some finish to pull off!

I had to sand the area smooth, and then apply the needed finish, and sprayed with a toner to blend in the damage.

Antique White Dresser Chip Repair

2

The Bottom of the below antique white dresser was damaged when furniture dollies were put underneath it to help roll it up a driveway.  It chipped the bottom.

If you notice it is the damage closest to the leg.  I filled, sanded, and touched up the damage.  The antique white powder that I have matched it perfectly.

Decorative Concrete Table Base Repair

2

Yesterday I did a repair on a dining room table.  It had a wood top, but the base was decorative concrete.  A chunk was taken out of the base.  I normally work with wood, and laminate only so this was a challenge.

I filled where the chunk was. I created a similar rough texture.  I then matched the base color, and added the black dots.  I made it a lot less noticeable.

Today I repaired the top of an Armoire.  The armoire was cracked all across the top of the crown moulding.

I did this repair on site.  I had to glue the piece, and fill it, and then sand it smooth.  I had to get my palette out for this one.  Had to mix a little cordovan mahogany, and some burnt sienna.  I then had to add a litte grain with a graining pen.  Result below!

Another job complete.

This was a challenging repair. It was supposed to be brand new.  The customer wanted to return it, but they had to allow a repair 1st before it could be returned. Below is the result!

I had to fill the damage, plane it, and sand it smooth.  Mixed, and matched, the color, and grain, and finished it. The bottom was silver colored metal, and that was a challenge to fill, and match.
